I document many events at the Tate and the most recent was the annual Portfolio Advice Day held at Tate Britain. Would be art students bring along their portfolios for a critique and take part in workshops and presentations throughout the gallery.

Portrait of a portrait of William Cobbett
Was commissioned by the Arts Council England and the Guardian to to illustrate a feature about art bequeathed to the nation and photograph a portrait of one of Farnham's most famous son's, the 19th century radical journalist and agitator William Cobbett. The painting was at the Museum of Farnham and was quite a challenge as it was framed behind some highly reflective glass and had to be lit very carefully. I had a good workout as I had to drag my lighting up 3 narrow flights of stairs!

A blog....at last
I thought it was about time I had a blog. So let's start with an atmospheric photograph I took the other day.
